Welcome Induction – Cherratta Lodge

The following information covers basic items to make your stay comfortable, we hope you enjoy your stay!

By reading this welcome induction, you are agreeing to read the villages rules and regulations and adhere to these rules whilst at any Cherratta Lodge site.

Safety

• There is a noise curfew from 21:30, this is at the discretion of security personnel. A full site curfew will be enforced from 22:00, this means no guest is permitted around the facility after this time and no visitors are permitted at the facility.

• Muster Point locations and Emergency Plans are in each room, it is important to read and understand them. Cherratta Lodge is in a Region D Cyclone Area and the season is from  November to April.

• The map on the back of your room door details the location of laundries, gyms, Wifi Password and restaurant times.
o There is a breathalyser located in the Cherratta Lodge first aid room.
o There are lockers available, please contact reception to organise a locker for your R&R.

• Please notify reception if you are off work sick. We have a welfare procedure that we need to follow if you are unwell.

• These items are strictly prohibited within the facility: illegal drugs and substance, firearms, weapons and explosives, animals or live pets of any kind.

• If you need to log a maintenance request you can do so via our website.

Room

• Your room will be attended to between your 6th and 8th night of your swing.
• Please use the bins and smoking receptacles provided and remove your work boots before entering your room.
• Guest Wi-fi is available around the facility, there is no password required.

• Upon check out, drop off your room and locker keys to the reception or place the keys in the key drop box at reception.

Restaurant

• Please take your room key with you for entrance to the dining room.
We have a dress code that applies in restaurant: Neat casual attire/clean work clothes, footwear must be worn at all times, no singlets. From 6-8pm wearing of hi-vis work uniforms in the Restaurant is not permitted.

• The restaurant is open 04:00-08:00 and 16:00 -20:00 daily. If you do not wish to dine in the restaurant, in lieu of your meal you can pre-order a BBQ pack from reception and collect this from the Café (48hrs notice)

• There is no wet mess on this premise, alcohol is permitted in the restaurant in small quantities. There is a bottle shop at the caravan park around the corner if you wish to purchase alcohol.

Gym and Group Fitness Waiver

By reading this welcome induction you are acknowledging that you; are experienced or will be with someone who is experienced in the use of gym equipment; are physically fit; will wear appropriate attire while using the gyms and have a towel and water bottle at all times; are responsible and aware of your current health including any allergies; and you understand that you will not receive any instructor assistance while using the gyms at the Cherratta Lodge sites. You are also agreeing to maintain gym etiquette including; signing the gym sign in sheet prior to using the gym equipment; using a towel and wiping equipment after use; not consuming food or alcohol in the gym; not smoking in or near the gym; and nor dropping weights.

By reading this form here below you are acknowledging that you are fully aware that the participating in this activity involves risks and you accept all of the risks at the gymnasium at any Cherratta Lodge site. You also agree and accept sole responsibility for your present conditions. Cherratta Lodge management strongly recommend that all casual users seek medical advice prior to the commencement of any physical activity program.
